We are very sad to announce the unfortunate news that Kanubhai passed away on Wednesday 3rd January 2024. Our Dad was the founding owner of Mahavir Sweet Mart and we are extremely proud of his achievements and the legacy he has left behind.

Mahavir Sweet Mart is a family run business that has been established for 51 years. We originally opened in East Finchley in 1973 and eventually moved to our current location in Finchley Central. Our ethos of providing high quality service and delicious food is firmly bonded by our strong family values, with staff from 3 generations working to provide you with the best possible experience. You will often see most of our family helping out during busy festivals whether its through service with a smile or cooking with the charisma that has kept many of our friends and loyal customers coming back for years.
We are a pure vegetarian sweet mart that lives to innovate to provide our customers with new taste experiences to tickle their tastebuds. A vast range of curries, savouries and sweets have blessed our menu over the years and are now staple offerings. What we do best, however, is the classics. Time and time again, we are praised for having the best jelebi, long gatia and kachori in London. This comes from years of crafting the best recipes and learning the technique that produces the most authentic taste to make you feel like you are in the heart of Gujarat while walking through Finchley. Samosa in one hand, Ladoo in the other- that's our way.
